Join us for the Thunder Bay Snowarama for Easter Seals Kids and make some great memories!
On Saturday, February 11, 2023, snowmobilers from across Northwestern Ontario and Northeastern Minnesota are invited to hit the trails for the Grand Portage Lodge and Casino Snowarama. Now in its 18th year, the Grand Portage Lodge and Casino Snowarama has raised more than $540,000 in support of children and youth with physical disabilities in Ontario.
With every $100 in pledges you raise, you will receive a ballot to win Snowarama prize packages!
The event includes a bonfire on the trail, a fabulous dinner, and live entertainment on Saturday night, featuring Smoke House. There will be prizes for the top fundraisers, as well as additional prizes throughout the weekend. A minimum of $100 in pledges is required to participate. The more pledges you bring in, the more chances you have to win prize packages. Participants can also register for the event and collect pledges from friends and family online. Visit Snowarama.org to register and invite all your contacts to support you online.
Grand Portage Lodge has reserved rooms for the weekend for Snowarama participants only. Please call Grand Portage Lodge and Casino at 1.800.543.1384 to book a room reserved for Snowarama participants.
Snowarama has two routes to choose from at Grand Portage Lodge and Casino: A long ride that is approximately 120 miles and a short ‘local ride’ on the reservation that is approximately 35 miles. Trail permits will be required for riders who venture off the Grand Portage Reservation trails at a cost of $51 USD. Minnesota trail permits are available at Ryden’s 66.
Funds raised at this event will help provide financial assistance to children with physical disabilities for essential mobility and accessibility equipment as well as fully accessible summer camp. Snowarama for Easter Seals Kids would not be a success without the support of the snowmobiling community. We sincerely hope we can count on your support and participation again this year.
This year, all our Snowaramas are working together toward a combined goal of raising $150,000.
Every child has the potential to grow into the best version of themselves; however, every child also needs the right environment, opportunities, and support system to do so. The funds raised at the Thunder Bay Snowarama will help provide children and youth with physical disabilities the tools they need to discover their full potential and grow into empowered adults.
Your support will have a significant impact on the lives of kids with physical disabilities and their families.
Our thanks to you!
As a thank you for supporting kids with physical disabilities, anyone who raises a minimum of $100 will receive a toque and glove set courtesy of Fast Eddie Speedwear!
