On Saturday, February 8, 2025, snowmobilers from across Northwestern Ontario and Northeastern Minnesota are invited to hit the trails for the Grand Portage Lodge and Casino Snowarama for Easter Seals Kids, and become part of the most successful winter fundraiser for Easter Seals Ontario. Celebrating 20 years at Grand Portage Lodge and Casino, Snowarama has raised more than $610,000 in support of children and youth with physical disabilities in the community.
The event includes a bonfire on the trail, a fabulous dinner and LIVE entertainment on Saturday night featuring The Hoolies. There will be prizes for the top fundraisers, as well as additional prizes throughout the weekend. A minimum of $100 in pledges is required to participate. The more pledges you bring in, the more chances you have to win prizes.
Grand Portage Lodge has reserved rooms for the weekend for Snowarama participants only. Please call Grand Portage Lodge and Casino at 1.800.543.1384 to book a room reserved for Snowarama participants.
Snowarama has two routes to choose from at Grand Portage Lodge and Casino: A long ride, Gun Flint Trail, that is approximately 120 miles and a short ‘local ride’ on the reservation that is approximately 35 miles. This year, we have renamed the local ride the “MAG Ride”, in memory of Mary Anne Gagnon, a longtime Snowarama volunteer. Trail permits will be required for those riders that venture off the Grand Portage Reservation trails. Minnesota trail permits are available at Ryden’s 66.
Funds raised at this event help provide financial assistance for children with physical disabilities for essential mobility and accessibility equipment as well as accessible and inclusive summer camp experiences at Easter Seals camps. Snowarama for Easter Seals Kids would not be a success without the support of the snowmobiling community. We sincerely hope we can count on your support and participation again this year.
You can register online or in person at Grand Portage Lodge and Casino on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 9 a.m. Participants are required to raise a minimum of $100, either online or collected on the day of the event.
Our thanks to you!
As a thank you for supporting kids with physical disabilities, anyone who raises a minimum of $100 will receive a 50th anniversary Snowarama hat!

Your support will have a significant impact on the lives of kids with physical disabilities and their families.
Every child has the potential to grow into the best version of themselves; however, every child also needs the right environment, opportunities, and support system to do so. The funds from Snowarama will help provide children and youth with physical disabilities the tools they need to discover their full potential and grow into empowered adults.
